How To Find The Perfect Holster for Your CZ P10c

The CZ P-10 C is sized very similarly to the Glock 19, so it works well in multiple roles. It can be a great concealed carry firearm and can even work for duty or competition use. Before purchasing a holster, determine the task you plan on using the CZ P10c for. You want to make sure the holster has all the right features you're looking for in that given task.

CZ P10c IWB Holster

IWB stands for Inside the Waist Band. There are two main positions where you'll likely carry your CZ P10C IWB: appendix and strong side carry. When we talk about strong side carry for a right-handed shooter, we're talking about carrying from the three to five o'clock position. Appendix carry is generally forward of the hips.

Any IWB holster is going to benefit from having well-rounded edges. Especially around the area below the trigger guard and the muzzle of the gun. For appendix carry, having the area underneath the trigger guard well-rounded is very important since that is going to sit in your inner thigh.

Strong Side Carry

When carrying strong side (three to five o'clock for a right-handed shooter), the most important aspect is adjustable cant. Adjustable cant allows you to angle the grip of the gun so it's optimized for either concealment or for an efficient draw stroke.

For a gun the size of the CZ P-10 C, I would suggest up to 30 degrees of adjustable cant. This varies by body type and clothing, but it's nice to have the ability to customize the cant to your individual needs.

CZ P10c Appendix Holster

For an appendix holster the most important feature is adjustable ride height. The gun needs to be positioned so it's optimal for both speed of draw and concealment. The higher the ride height, the quicker your draw, but concealment generally won't be as good.

An eighth of an inch can make a big difference in both concealment and comfort. There are also accessories for appendix carry that aren't necessary for strong side \x{2014} a wing or claw, and a wedge.

Wing / Claw

A wing or claw leverages the tightness of the belt to torque the grip of the firearm further into your hip when carrying appendix. This is very important with the CZ P-10 C as the grip is fairly large, so most people will need this upgrade. It helps concealment and optimizes the grip angle for your draw.

Wedge

When you carry appendix, the holster sits in a pocket right next to your thigh. You want that pocket filled for two reasons: comfort (pressure distributed evenly, preventing hot spots) and concealment (the wedge pushes the grip back into your body while kicking the muzzle out, making things safer).

CZ P10c OWB Holster

Choosing an OWB holster for the CZ P-10 C depends on your goal. Tactical setups may need a retention holster. Competition use calls for an OWB taco style holster with a quick draw. For concealment, you want something that hugs the body close with adjustable cant.

Competition and Range Use

For competition, you want adjustable retention with a wide range of adjustments. The CZ P-10 C trigger guard is shaped differently than most, so the draw is going to feel a little different. A flare in front of the holster makes re-holstering easier. Make sure the holster has a versatile mounting pattern for different mount options.

Mounting Options

For a generalized solution, an X Lock or Tek-Lok works great. These allow you to take a holster on and off a belt quickly while still being very secure \x{2014} perfect for matching your CZ P-10 C holster to a battle belt. For serious competition, a competition-style hanger gives the stiffest solution with optimized draw and cant.

OWB Concealment

For OWB concealment, you want adjustable cant and something that sits tight to the body. Look for 15 to 30 degrees of cant. Carrying at three o'clock, you might use a seven-degree or zero-degree cant, but the gun generally isn't as concealable there.

CZ P10c Holster with Light

We currently do not have an option for a CZ P-10 C holster with light. This is something we are working on. We appreciate your patience.
